Last week, I photographed a lovely intimate ceremony by the lake. There was nary a soul about apart from Tony and Indhu’s close family and friends.
They picked a picturesque little spot on the beach by some rocks and a lone tree with the lake stretching out behind them. The beach, miraculously for a hot summer day, was almost empty, besides the odd duck and the ever ubiquitous gulls. It was a picture perfect wedding, and a reminder of how beautiful Lake Ontario and intimate beachside ceremonies can be.
Tony and Indhu were a riot to photograph: after the ceremony, I got them to remove their shoes, hike up their fancy wedding clothes, and dip their toes into the lake water for some photos. After that, we took advantage of many of Richard Memorial Park’s prettiest spots for more photographs. The playground was a highlight. You are never too old to get reacquainted with your inner child!

It was a beautiful evening with a beautiful sunset. There was some camping. There was some fishing. There was some walking on the beach. Fun, sweet, romantic and comfortable: this engagement session was a breeze, and Sinthuja and Prash were so easy to photograph! They’re loving and fun-loving, and it really shows in the pictures. Can’t wait to photograph their wedding in August!

Last August, I had the pleasure of photographing Shannon and Shreyas’ romantic wedding at the Hazelton Manor in Vaughan.
These two clearly love each other; and it was such a blast capturing their special day.
