These two adorable brothers had a joint birthday party last fall, and had a great time. Here are some of my favourite photos from the too-cute bash. 

I went to journalism school with Angela so it was so wonderful to be asked to photograph her engagement session this winter. 

She and Ludwik made the long trip down from Ottawa to the Kawarthas for our wintry engagement session at Ken Reid Conservation Area. I snapped some photos as we went for a lovely walk through the woods then they strapped on their cross-country skis for some fun and sporty skiing photos. These two are so comfortable and cute together, and they definitely know how to make each other laugh (as the photos show!). Here are some of my favourite shots from the session. 

I had the opportunity to photograph Jameela’s adorable family for some holiday portraits earlier this year in Toronto. While it is always nice to have some formal portraits, I don’t think there’s anything quite like creating candid portraits with people as they are. They ring truer; and they always bring a smile to my face in a way that posed portraits don’t. It is as if you are seeing through to some inner quality of theirs.
