Ruby and Chris are such a natural couple. Seeing the two of them together feels right: they’re genuine, down-to-earth people with hearts of gold. I had such a wonderful time working with them. 

To celebrate their marriage, Ruby and Chris had two ceremonies so they could honour both their cultures. Their Christian wedding ceremony was officiated by the affable Jim Giles from Enduring Promises and was held at Atmosfera in Mississauga, which is a hidden gem with some of the best food I can remember having at a wedding.

I loved everything about Julie and Adam’s wedding. It was simple; it was relaxed; it was casual; it was fun; it was them. The wedding was held in Julie’s parents’ wonderfully landscaped backyard complete with a clear tent in case the rain came calling (which it did). Adam’s older daughter made for a wonderful grooms-woman and his younger daughter made for an adorable flower girl. The band was great; the food was delicious; and you could tell everyone was having a blast. 

Whenever I look at these photos, I am reminded of what a wonderful night it was. This is what I love about wedding photography. It’s my creative contribution to one of the most important moments in someone’s life, and a record of a day that they will never forget. Julie and Adam, you both were wonderful to work with, and I wish you all the best in the world!

Some of my favourite weddings are outdoor summer weddings: the weather is glorious, you’re surrounded by nature and the landscape is lush. Jenani and Prasanna chose the Royal Ambassador in lovely Caledon, Ontario for their Hindu wedding, and you couldn’t have asked for a better spot. I loved working with these two: they were so relaxed and with it on their wedding day, which made photographing them a lot of fun.  It was as a wedding should be: everyone relaxed and having a great time.
