Angela and Rajeive’s Family Portrait Session

I’ve had so much fun photographing Angela and Rajeive’s adorable family, and it’s been a privilege seeing them grow through my lens.

The last time I saw them was actually the day Angela gave birth!

We had done some maternity photos earlier in the day, and by the end of the day, another sweet little boy had joined their wonderful family.

Now, almost a year later, I got to meet and document their newest baby boy.

For me, emotions in photographs are everything. They make my heart melt every time so it’s something I try to capture in every session of mine: happiness, playfulness, and the loving connections between family. It’s those emotions, I know, that will tug at everyone’s hearts for decades to come.

Here are some of my favourite images from this playful family session with Angela and Rajeive’s family in Mississauga

Matthew + Rajeena: Wedding Highlights

It was a cold stormy October day when Rajeena and Matthew got married, but their wedding was warm, fun, and inviting. This sweet couple got married at the Peel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Brampton surrounded by friends and family. Matthew’s father acted as their officiant.

It was a lovely, short, intimate ceremony followed by a lively reception afterwards. I loved that the couple had their family and friends’ speeches pre-recorded so everyone could watch and enjoy it together at their reception. It was a thoughtful idea, and allowed everyone to relax without the worry of public speaking. I always love seeing the unique ways couples celebrate their day. And this was a great idea!

After the reception, we braved the gusty winds and took some portraits along the shores of Lake Ontario in pretty Port Credit. St. Lawrence Park is just beautiful.

Here are some highlights from their day.

Amada + Sri Reception Highlights

I had the opportunity to photograph Amada and Sri’s wedding reception this past summer, and it was a riot. These two are so present and in the moment that it was such a pleasure to photograph them and their families.

Weddings are often full of raw emotions. It is something I always look to capture and love to capture. Those are the photographs that always stick with me weeks, months and years later. This wedding reception was no exception. It was full of love, laughter, tears and lots of sweet dance moves.

Here are some of my favourite moments from their celebration.
