Ruby & Chris’ Winter Maternity Session in the Kawartha Lakes

Ruby had her heart set on a snowy maternity session, but with our El Niño winter the snow just would not stay on the ground. We rescheduled the session to later in the month hoping for a classic Canadian winter day to arrive, and this past weekend it finally did! 

While there was slush and rain in Toronto, we got some enchanting snowfall up in the Kawartha Lakes, which gave us a Narnia-esque backdrop for Chris and Ruby’s maternity session at Ken Reid Conservation Area. 

It was so much fun working with Ruby and Chris again after photographing their wedding, and an honour to help capture such a happy milestone in their lives.
