Cece’s Newborn Portrait Session in Port Credit

There’s something so unreal and wonderful about the first days of a baby’s life: the newness of it, the long nights, the creation of a bond with a tiny human being who looks to you for everything. 

It’s what I love most about newborn photography: capturing those early, fleeting, magical moments. 

And it’s why I love in-home newborn sessions so much. The nostalgia and memories that those early photos evoke years down the road are priceless. It’s a historical record; it’s art; it’s memories of family; it’s impressions of love. 

I have a special affection for this wee one since she’s family and already so precocious, even at 15 days old. Her eye contact in some of these images is piercingly beautiful. 

Cece couldn’t ask for more loving parents than Alex and Mauro. They make a beautiful family.
