Aneka + Dineash’s Hindu Wedding Highlights

Sometimes, Hindu weddings can be serious affairs. There are so many traditions and ceremonies to honour. It’s part of their beauty, but it can also make for a whole lot of serious faces.

What I loved about Aneka and Dineash’s Hindu ceremony were all the lovely smiling faces and laughter. It didn’t hurt that they had a hilarious priest who could crack jokes and liven up the ceremony too.

Editing these photos and selecting them for this blog post was such a pleasure. Happy photos and happy people are infectious. It’s probably why I am so drawn to taking photographs of people in moments of joy.
