Sinthuja + Prash: An Intimate Temple Ceremony in Toronto

Sinthuja and Prash had a lovely ceremony at the Sri Chandramouleeshwara Shivaalayam - Sivan temple in Scarborough with close family and friends followed by a lovely backyard reception.

I enjoy intimate weddings so much. It feels personal; you can feel the excitement amongst the guests; and you can see the connection everyone has to the couple. It makes for some beautiful candid images when everyone is so invested and present.

Their priest was also a lot of fun – I’ve never seen so many smiles during a Hindu ceremony!  He really made everyone laugh, and I was happy to be able to capture some of those beautiful smiles!

Here are some of my favourite images from their wedding.

Highlights from Ruby & Chris’ Family Portrait Session in the Kawarthas

I always love seeing Ruby and Chris. This time was extra special though because I was really looking forward to meeting baby Anjali who is not only adorable, but has the sweetest temperament I’ve ever come across in a baby.

Ruby, Chris and Anjali drove down from the GTA bright and early one Saturday morning to the Kawarthas for their family portrait session. We returned to Ken Reid Conservation Area where we did their maternity photos for some early fall family portraits.

I have so many favourites from this lovely session – so many little moments of interaction, love, laughter and connection. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Anu & Nav’s Sunrise Engagement Session at Humber Bay Park and downtown Toronto

It is always special when your engagement photos are taken at locations that mean something to you. The photos take on more meaning and depth, and it’s such a wonderful way to remember those places.

Anu and Nav picked Humber Bay Park for their first location because they recently bought their first place together near the park. It’s a place where I’m sure they’ll create beautiful memories in the future!

We got there for sunrise, and the clouds and sprinkling of rain only added to the photos. It is worth waking up early to catch that sunrise. The light is so lovely at that time of day. It’s also a time when few other people are about so the session feels more tranquil and intimate.

For their downtown locations, Nav and Anu picked a few of their favourite restaurants in the city where they’ve had some fun dates and wonderful meals. They included Death in Venice Gelato Co., Lee Restaurant, Gusto 101, Pizzeria Libretto, and their favourite place for brunch, Senator Restaurant. We went for a casual, fun and candid style of images for this set of photos.

Here are some of my favourites from their session!
